As far as I have experienced, the fastest acceleration truck is Renault T with 750hp engine, cuz it's the combination of the most powerful engine with the least weight. According to game files specifications, the top 3 lightest chassis are: Mercedes Actros 4x2 (old gen) at 6754 kg. Iveco Stralis 4x2 at 6775 kg.
European trucks are built differently compared to American trucks, so I couldn't really say too much about them. I believe its normal that the cab does lift a little bit if under high acceleration, but with the game.. say if you're hauling 20 tons, you have a high chance of popping a wheelie.
Well, my game went fine. But, when I bought my first truck, it just won't go forward. When I try to accelerate, it give me gears D2-D3, and it go veeery slow (1-2 km/h). When I'm going back, it move normal. btw: I'm using a mod of Romania map, and I didn't try to test the game before I installed the mod. I'm playing ETS2 and everything is fine until out of nowhere (with no setting changes) my truck starts to accelerate by itself. So far to get rid of this problem I've tried: - Unplugging the controller (still accelerates with no controller plugged in) If it matters, I'm using a dualshock 4 controller. Never had this issue in the past.
You can try going to documents: "euro truck simulator 2" and right click the "profiles" folder within it. Select "properties", then click the "Previous Versions" tab. If you're lucky, it find one that can be restored.
