My T6 2017 went in this week for AdBlue woes. This is my sequence which might help others: - M25 went from 3500miles randomly to 1000 left. Got home (40 miles later) then gave me the dreaded 600mile countdown. Also, EML came on with EGR codes. - Topped up with 10l of correct BS number AdBlue.
Hey presto, swapped the lift pumps over, re-fitted the old tank with the rest of the original sensors, reset all the errors with good old Carista and took it for a road test. 5 miles later, the Adblue warning vanished and went back to 6500 miles To conclude.
At 1500 miles (2400 km) (my) T6 asks a minimum 6.25 litres. There is a minimum threshold for registering the remaining miles - thus even being a T6.1 I'd suggest to pour into some more - T6 would gladly accept another 5 litres. I have played with T6 by filling less than requested, and quite often the miles remaining just doesn't update
By the time I got it I was down to 100km in the tank. I then added 10L of adblue but the gauge never reset. I rang VW and they said there was no issue but it took a minimum of a three quarter capacity fill to reset the gauge. So if it’s a 20L tank and you don’t refill by at least 15L it doesn’t reset.
Member. 9 Jul 2021. #1. Purchased a T6 150 (2020) end of March 2021, 14k on the clock and just serviced including AdBlue top-up. AdBlue range said 6,500 miles remaining when I collected it. Van now has 16,200 miles, and AdBlue range is 5,000, which it been sitting on for some time. Is this correct, should it not be down to 4,500 miles, also
31103 is just VW's own code for P20EE, thus only 1 fault there. Anyways, there is an engine software update (version 6166) available for your CXHA engine. The update should cure false alarms of this fault - among other things. The trick is to inject some more AdBlue to reduce NOx emissions (more).
so assuming that VW have developed a NEW MAP that has the adblue tweeks . . . . . then the tuners need to take a copy of that new map, and make a new-new map with the performance tweeks added again (and roling road tested again). . . if you over write the new VW map with your old tuned map you are just overwriting the new code with old.
