Theywere solely due to the "brake pedal switch" which just required a small adjustment. At each point when the failure light came on, the selespeed gearbox worked ok. The failure warning was only due to the switch, and not the gearbox. This brake switch misalignment is relatively well known and experienced by most 147 selespeed owners. Thefirst with the system was the Ferrari 355F1. But that only had a cable throttle, so could only blip during gear changes by using the idle actuator.
